Review by hotel critic
My wife and I recently stayed at The Nunnery Boutique Hotel in Moss Vale, and it was a truly delightful experience. The charming establishment exudes a sense of history and elegance that captivated us from the moment we arrived. The marble-paved courtyard with a pergola, where we enjoyed our morning coffee, was a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling town. The breakfast served in the conservatory, with a cozy log fire crackling nearby, was a highlight of our stay. The freshly cooked hot items and a variety of cereals provided a perfect start to our days exploring Moss Vale and its surrounding attractions. The attention to detail in the breakfast offerings truly impressed us. The room's amenities, including a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, and a kettle, ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The guest lounge, with its comfortable sofas and inviting fireplace, was a welcoming space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hospitality of the owner, Suzanne, was exceptional. Her warmth and genuine care for her guests shone through in every interaction, making us feel right at home. Her thoughtful gestures, like freshly baked brownies upon our arrival, added an extra touch of hospitality that made our stay truly memorable. From the elegant decor to the impeccable service, every aspect of our stay surpassed our expectations. We left Moss Vale feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a charming and well-run accommodation. We look forward to our next visit to this hidden gem in the heart of the Southern Highlands.
